VVTi is great in low load situations from the factory, not so great in spool and high load situations.  VVTi control utilizing aftermarket ecu’s can reign havoc on other systems when you run your Standalone in piggy back form.  This allows you to utilize the Aftermarket ecu to maximize power, but use factory ecu to maximize fuel economy.
